I don’t have much to say about what has me shaking my head in pure puzzlement today. A picture literally does say it all in this case. Look at the image below. It’s a screenshot I took of a CNN article two days ago.

What was CNN thinking? How does CNN justify this? Is it because it’s a contextual ad? That’s not a good enough answer; someone at CNN should pay closer attention to the types of ads being shown on the news pages! Read more

CNN is reporting “Senator ‘outraged’ by food-borne illness cases”.

Oh my, this headline could make one think that JUST ONE Senator is outraged about the deaths of American Citizens due to the neglect of corporations. It could make one think that just ONE Senator is outraged about the 575 people that have been sick due to corporate neglect.  Read more

Well, I hate to break to the person who made this comment, and others that think like him or her, but the way to “stop” bad legislation starts with us.  The Citizens.

Yes our representatives and senators represent us, but if they don’t hear from their constituents then they will vote however they see fit. Read more

Voiding Proposition 8 Is An Unconstitutional Action

Now that 3 states have voted against same sex marriages, gays across the country are protesting and holding rallies across the country in a way that I have rarely seen any group of people organize in my lifetime.

I understand that gays want equal rights; I’m a woman who also wants equal rights in the workforce. As a machinist by trade, I understand fully when a person is treated unfairly due to gender and not ability.

I have friends that are gay, I do not mock them, I do not judge them, I do as Jesus has commanded and I strive to love everyone. As a Christian I am supposed to love the sinner and hate the sin. Read more
